It’s important that you read all of the Talkin.io terms and conditions on this page before creating your Talkin account. We’ve highlighted some of the key terms below, and then our full Terms and Conditions of the Talkin service follow.
Talkin.io Free Trial
We offer all new customers a 7 day free trial as standard. When you create your account, it may suggest that you receive 8 days; this is because we estimate that we will get you up and running within 1 business day. The additional day accounts for the business day it takes to set your account up. In most cases, your account will be set up within a couple of hours.
The free trial is limited to one per customer. We operate fraud-prevention systems and may verify sign-up details, payment method and other technical information (including IP address and device/click information). We reserve the right to refuse, suspend or cancel any account, and to withhold or reclaim a telephone number, where we reasonably suspect the trial or service is being obtained or used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these terms — including sign-ups intended to obtain numbers for one-time-passcode (OTP) or verification harvesting, or other misuse. In such cases a number may be reclaimed and reissued.
Contract length
The Talkin.io service is offered on a rolling monthly 30 day subscription. There are no long term contracts and there is no obligation for you to continue using the service past the 30 day period.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account and clicking on the “Manage your billing” button. When you cancel your account, your services will be suspended at the end of the 30 day payment period. After this point, you will not be able to access your account. You can email us at hello@talkin.io if you require additional support. There are no refunds offered.
Non-payment
Any Talkin.io account that fails to make a payment within 30 days of the subscription being due will have their account suspended. If payment is then not made in a further 30 day period, the account will be cancelled and the number may be recycled and used by another account.
Inclusive minutes
Talkin.io offers unlimited minutes from UK mobiles and landlines included in your monthly subscription. You can divert calls from your Talkin landline to a UK mobile or landline number of your choice. We will not be able to divert calls to any numbers in our restricted number list. You are not permitted to divert calls to premium numbers or international numbers. We reserve the right to terminate your account immediately if your account is used to divert calls to premium numbers.
Welcome and Voicemail greeting
Talkin.io offers you the ability to create your own welcome and voicemail greeting using text-to-speech technology. We reserve the right to terminate your account immediately if you create a greeting using another business’s name, or containing malicious or offensive content.
Inbound calling
The Talkin.io service supports inbound calling only. There is no option for outbound calling.
Diverted numbers
You can divert your Talkin.io number to any UK landline or mobile number. We do not accept any international numbers or premium rate numbers.
Number porting
You can divert your existing business landline number to Talkin.io and benefit from the rich list of features that we provide. To port your number, please email hello@talkin.io and we will help you to organise this.
Fair usage policy
For guidance, customers regularly receiving more than 50 calls per day to UK numbers are not classed as ‘Normal Users’ and hence will invoke our Fair Usage Policy. If your account exceeds this threshold, we reserve the right to increase the cost of your monthly subscription. At all times the decision of Mi Telecom Limited is final.
Agreement to terms
These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Mi Telecom Limited, doing business as Talkin.io (“Talkin.io”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the https://talkin.io website as well as any related media (collectively, the “Site”). You agree that by accessing the Site, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with all of these Terms of Use, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and you must discontinue use immediately.
Supplemental terms and conditions or documents that may be posted on the Site from time to time are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Terms of Use at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of these Terms of Use. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Terms of Use. You will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted, the changes in any revised Terms of Use by your continued use of the Site.
The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Site.
Intellectual property rights
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (collectively, the “Content”) and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the “Marks”) are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. The Content and the Marks are provided on the Site “AS IS” for your information and personal use only. Except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, no part of the Site and no Content or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever, without our express prior written permission.
Provided that you are eligible to use the Site, you are granted a limited license to access and use the Site and to download or print a copy of any portion of the Content to which you have properly gained access solely for your personal, non-commercial use. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you in and to the Site, the Content and the Marks.
User representations
By using the Site, you represent and warrant that: (1) all registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete; (2) you will maintain the accuracy of such information; (3) you have the legal capacity and you agree to comply with these Terms of Use; (4) you are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside; (5) you will not access the Site through automated or non-human means; (6) you will not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose; and (7) your use of the Site will not violate any applicable law or regulation.
If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Site.
User registration
You may be required to register with the Site. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine that such username is inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
Fees and payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. You may be required to purchase or pay a fee to access some of our services. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via the Site, and to promptly update account and payment information. We bill you through an online billing account for purchases made via the Site. Sales tax will be added where required. We may change prices at any time. All payments shall be in GBP.
You agree to pay all charges at the prices then in effect for your purchases, and you authorize us to charge your chosen payment provider. If your purchase is subject to recurring charges, you consent to our charging your payment method on a recurring basis without requiring your prior approval for each recurring charge, until you notify us of your cancellation.
When you arrive at our Site from an advert or marketing link, we may record marketing-attribution information (such as advertising click identifiers and campaign parameters) and process it as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.
Free trial
We offer a 7-day free trial to new users who register with the Site. The account will be charged according to the user’s chosen subscription at the end of the free trial. The free trial is limited to one per customer and is subject to the anti-abuse provisions set out in the key terms above.
Cancellation
All purchases are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account or contacting us using the contact information provided below. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term.

Prohibited activities
You may not access or use the Site for any purpose other than that for which we make the Site available. As a user of the Site, you agree not to, among other things: systematically retrieve data to create a collection or database without our written permission; make unauthorized use of the Site, including collecting usernames or email addresses to send unsolicited email, or creating accounts by automated means or under false pretenses; circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Site; engage in unauthorized framing of or linking to the Site; trick, defraud, or mislead us or other users; make improper use of our support services; engage in automated use of the system; impersonate another user; sell or transfer your profile; use information from the Site to harass, abuse, or harm another person; decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the Site’s software; upload or transmit viruses or other malicious material; or use other businesses’ names or registered trademarks within your account, including in welcome and voicemail messages.
Site management
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to: monitor the Site for violations of these Terms of Use; take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates the law or these Terms of Use; refuse, restrict access to, limit the availability of, or disable any of your contributions; remove from the Site or disable content that is excessive in size or burdensome to our systems; and otherwise manage the Site in a manner designed to protect our rights and property and to facilitate its proper functioning.
Privacy policy
We care about data privacy and security. Please review our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. By using the Site, you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Use. The Site is hosted in the United Kingdom. If you access the Site from another region with laws governing personal data collection that differ from UK law, then through your continued use of the Site, you are transferring your data to the United Kingdom and you agree to have your data processed in the United Kingdom.
Term and termination
These Terms of Use shall remain in full force and effect while you use the Site. We reserve the right to, in our sole discretion and without notice or liability, deny access to and use of the Site (including blocking certain IP addresses) to any person for any reason, including for breach of any representation, warranty, or covenant contained in these Terms of Use or of any applicable law or regulation. We may terminate your use or participation in the Site or delete your account at any time, without warning, in our sole discretion.
If we terminate or suspend your account for any reason, you are prohibited from registering and creating a new account under your name, a fake or borrowed name, or the name of any third party.
Modifications and interruptions
We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Site at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of the Site without notice at any time. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Site. We cannot guarantee the Site will be available at all times and may experience interruptions, delays, or errors. You agree that we have no liability for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by your inability to access or use the Site during any downtime.
Governing law
These conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Mi Telecom Limited and you both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If your habitual residence is in the EU and you are a consumer, you additionally possess the protection provided to you by obligatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. You agree that your use of the Site and our services will be at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Site and your use thereof, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of the Site’s content or the content of any websites linked to the Site.
Limitations of liability
In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, our liability to you for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of the action will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to us during the three (3) month period prior to any cause of action arising.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective officers, agents, partners, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable legal fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms of Use, your breach of your representations and warranties, or your violation of the rights of a third party.
Miscellaneous
These Terms of Use and any policies or operating rules posted by us constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Use shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision or part of a provision of these Terms of Use is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision or part is deemed severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
